Hi thanks for your help in advance... I recently began running android on my vogue (sprint touch). SMS and calls are working fine the OS is fast, but i cannot get my data connection running. i'm running system-tmo-ota-drc92.sqsh...

default.txt=
set cmdline "ppp.nostart=0 ppp.apn=internet ppp.username=614XXXXXXX@revol.us ppp.password=revol mddi.width=320 mddi.height=428 msm_sdcc.msmsdcc_fmax=32000000 pm.sleep_mode=0 board-htcvogue.panel_type=3 no_console_suspend"
boot

im running winmo 6.1 and have data working fine there
settings are similar to above ppp info and there are no proxies set and all ip and server info is set to auto.

i've formatted with sdformatter i am using a 1gb card... any ideas?

forgot to mention i have tried the place a call first idea and the start IE in winmo and leave it running idea...
Also using the modem app in android i get the following:
starting pppd...
connection attempt SUCCESSFUL!
phone ip: 10.94.65.XXX
subnet: 255.255.255.255
P-t-P: 10.70.5.XX
Done!

i get an E by the signal bars and the up and down arrows light up...
still if i go to the browser or try the google acct. sign up it fails...
browser sits forever blank then tells me page unavailable or sits blank

if i check the phone status it tells me
mobile network state: connected
service state: in service
roaming: not roaming
mobile network type: edge

thanks again....

my provider is revol wireless.
and for winmo to work for me i had to change my m.ip to simple ip only instead of mobile ip

I've never heard of Revol Wireless so I don't know what the APN settings should be, but ppp.apn = internet can't possibly be right.

I use ppp.apn = internet.

You need to make sure you complete the fields for the apn itself however, settings -> wireless controls -> mobile networks -> access point names

Click android, and complete username/password fields, back up, and use modem to cycle connection. See if that works.
