HTC TyTN II - Sync with windows 7

I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 and am trying to get my TyTN II to sync. I've installed Windows Mobile Device Centre 6.1, however, installation keeps failing with the message 'Unidentified Device - Searching for Drivers' and then changes to 'Unidentified Device - Failed'

I've tried this a number of times and also tried searching for solutions over the net, but no joy yet. Just wondering if anyone out here has faced a similar problem and any solution exists.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

There you have just confirmed my fears of me going blind :D

Anyway, I did follow the instructions on this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=579612) (the one I think you were referring to) but did not help :confused:

Ok. Still can't sync. Just "syncing" all the time but no results. :(

for me too.. it's not sync.... so i have decided to install xp on another partion n make dual boot only for sync.....

Mine is not detected at all when I plug it iunto a Windows 7 PC (tried 2x PC's and one laptop).

Anyone had this problem and solved it?
