EDGE Icon wont turn off.

Hello, I am using the latest Kavana ROM and I seem to have a problem getting the EDGE connection on my phone to turn off. If I reset the phne, the connection will eventually come on when it checks for email, but then it wont turn off, even when it is done checking.

Anyone else had this problem??

Any solutions??

i cant remember right now exactly where it is, but there's an option that says GRPS AUTO ATTACH and GRPS AUTO DETTACH..

you might want to look for it under settings- connections...


i dont have my phone near right now so i can't tell you the exact location for that option.

I do have my phone nearby:D...let me help you out with this one gab0.
Settings>connections>GPRS settings>GPRS Attach and Detach> click to uncheck GPRS Auto Attach and click to disconect GPRS when dropped and voila:eek:....no EDGE Icon :D
