Hello all.

I've had my XV6900 when it was first released and it's been though hell, but it has held up until now.

I woke up yesterday to find that my touch screen isn't working. Before I went to sleep the previous night, it was working perfectly fine.
I've done a million resets, took the battery out, etc. and only ONCE the screen started to work normally for a minute or two before reverting
back to the non-responsive inputs. I can navigate the phone just a tad by using the buttons, but obviously it does not suffice.

I noticed that on the bottom left corner, there seems to be an air bubble type blemish. I think it's misleading my phone that I am putting
pressure there myself, resulting in me not being able to touch to my liking and use it properly. I can answer calls only and do limited commands
by using buttons but text and email are my main form of communication -_-x

Surely a hard reset will not fix the problem, correct?
My only way to get this phone back in order is to try to find a digitizer, right?

(I am using My Mobilizer on my desktop right now to communicate with others and I was also wondering if there is a way I can save
my contacts INSTEAD of using Active Sync. My version of Windows VISTA did not come with Outlook -_-x.)

are you using a screen protector?

you can sync contacts with google http://www.google.com/mobile/products/sync.html#utm_campaign=en&utm_source=gh0ssy&utm_medium=ha&utm_term=google%20sync&dc=gh0ssy

i would try a hard reset before looking into getting a digitizer - my $.02

I was thinking about the hard reset but if the screen blemish, which looks like it's separating on the inside, is there... it wouldn't matter if I did a hard reset.

I think.
