Doesnt prompt me for SIM unlock code

I just inserted a SIM card from a different carrier and I do have the code to SIM unlock the phone. Problem is the phone doesnt prompt me for the code, it just asks for the SIM pin which I enter but after that it just says the SIM is invalid.

I have this ([* 3VOLUTION SERIES *][WM6.5 STD 23004][Build 3VO.2.80.092509]) installed, I also tried to hard reset the phone but it keeps the same ROM and it still doesnt ask for the SIM unlock code.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should flash back to your official ROM, then sim unlock your phone. Once the sim unlock is done, you can flash back to Ookba's ROM.
