help me to hard reset

I am using erofichs latest standard ROM. I enabled the security password. But forgot my password. Please help me to hard reset my device. I cant goto start menu and cant use rom update because active sync asks to unlock the device. I tried two soft keys and power on method without success.

1. Turn of device.
2. Press and hold both softkeys.
3. While holding the two softkeys, press the power button for about half a second, and release.
4. The bootlogo will come up briefly, then it will ask you to press 0.
5. Press 0 to hard reset, other keys to cancel.
6. Device will restart
7. Success!;)
