RAM usage

Hi, I have already made a post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=583115 but may be this part of the forum is more appropriate?

Basically, i'm trying to learn about ROMs, how to compile them etc so I can make my own or edit the ones I use..

Where can i find more information?
What do you technical people think about my post?

Sarcasm will not inspire people to help you out my friend. You've made four posts in your own thread here, and the same in the Diamond forum. I'm sure when someone with the required knowledge reads your post, you will get the answer you seek... if you haven't pissed them off with your attitude that is ;)

No sarcasm here mate. I can see that a fair amount of people have read my post, and I can see that it is slowly falling into the OLD posts section. I'm certain someone knows where they can point me, I just assume I've asked my question at a bad time i.e. when there is just browsers and no one who knows reading this post.

Mean while, someone else has pointed me on to page pool, to which I am now investigating.
