Just posted this as a reply to the screen disassembly and thought it might be better to create a new thread for this subject:

My POLA100 is almost 2 years old and the casing (the screen especially) show several scratches. I'm considering replacing the housing, they're available for around $35,- from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Housing-cove...ht_2385wt_1165

While searching i also find housings for the POLA200 (sold as touch cruise II here in NL), which i think is similar in terms of hardware. Would any of you happen to know whether it ouwld be possible to replace my current POLA100 housing with a POLA200 housing??

I found the complete disassembly guide and it seems that the main camera isn''t in the right place and cannot be moved from its mb location:

Is there anybody that can confirm this?

I never gave it a thought, but your idea seams ineteresting. What about the power button, the soft reset button and the usb/charger slot... would they fit? 'Cause if they did, it would sure worth it :). I really like the TC2 design :D
