I've been reading on the upgrade to 6.1 with various cooked rom, and decided to go with Tessa 4.5. Since it is required to go with IPL 3.10/SPL 3.10, i went from original ROM and upgrade one step at a time, to 1.17, 2.26 and 2.28, and 3.10 (both IPL and SPL). Then I noticed after 3.10, i cannot boot up. This is before I upgrade to Tessa, just upgrading IPL/SPL.
When in 2.26, everytime upgrade completed, reboot went fine. But after 3.10, it went wrong. I tried to fix it with upgrading IPL only to 3.14.
It still wont boot up after power down.
So I downgrade to IPL/SPL 2.28. The SPL went down, but IPL stays at 3.14, and the problem continues. I can upgrade to Onyx, but everytime I power down, i have to flash with IPL/SPL 2.28 to make the ELF boot up. When I get to the OS, i check my battery is 0%.
Is IPL 3.14 the culprit? If yes, how do I downgrade it? using elf-uspl and/or Rom Utility gives same result: IPL stays at 3.14.

Help?

Update:
i was able to flash with elf-uspl using ipl/spl 2.27/2.28.
Now i have onyx junior with the ipl/spl combination above.
But it is still having problem when I turned off the device. It won't go pass smart mobility, instead it just shut down again. I have to take out the battery, put it back in, then reflash with rom utility (with any spl/ipl below 3.0) then it would restart and go pass smart mobility and enter the OS.
What gives?

Update2:
After trying to downgrade and upgrade, I use the original HTC Touch ROM, Windows 6.0. Still the problem appear. So I decided to go with elf-uspl and get the SPL back to 1.11000 (which was the initial working setup). Then I flashed the IPL to 1.17002.
Now, with IPL 1.17002 and SPL 1.1100, everything went back to normal.
Is this mean I cannot use SPL above my initial setting? Obviously the newer cooked rom won't accept these number, as it needs to have 3.10 minimum?

I finally settled with IPL/SPL 1.19 since this is the only setting that would still boot to OS after I Power Off the device. Now looking for Win 6.1 coked rom that would accept these IPL/SPL setting...
