i we had my blueangel for about a year now and i while back it started shutting down randomly and didn't boot. so i got pissed and started using another phone instead. but now i want to fix it. so the problem is:
flashing blue light and no bootup
sometimes the screen shows ROM but crashes. (no backlight)
and with my other battery i just get a glowing red light.
i overclocked it in the past, any chance the the OC killed it? highest was 570 something but only for a short period.

i've noticed something though. i charge it with my qtek 1010's charger 5v 1A however on the blueangel its 5v 2A. but i worked fine for about 6 months.

any thoughts? is it gone for good?

Have you tried another battery (aside from the two that you have)? You can try to get a new one from eBay for like $10.
One more question, can you go into bootloader? If so, does the phone behave in the same way as you are describing or does it stay in the "serial" screen?

sorry for the very late reply... anyway the batteries are fine. i bought another blueangel and tried its battery with the old one, same result. and the two old batteries work fine in the new one. the thing is i'll probable be condemned to a lonely existence until something happens to the new one i bought, the screen and other parts are fine so i'll just swap if anything happens.

yeah id say mainboard issue. flashing blue light without boot isnt right, thats the bluetooth led lmfao

howmuch you want for the board though? if its cheap enough it could be fun to tinker with.
