Looking to get one for my car; main things I want are bt, mp3, and aux. Would appreciate some input especially from those who own this and a TP2.

Was thinking of getting this:

I purchased about a year ago this one

I looked mainly at 3 things: subwoofer output, AUX IN, and USB connector. MP3 playback was a must-have :D

It also has Bluetooth and is playing nicely with my HTC Touch Pro2 and was working fine with my old Toshiba G500 smartphone too.

The sound is great on the BT-phone connection and altho my car is somewhat noisy and the MIC does NOT have a noise suppression function I was amased how well I can use it as an in-car hands free device!

This was a well spent $100 :)

Have fun!

1 year ago, I bought this Sony MEX-BT2500. Works really nice. I can make phone call (only to the last call made it in the phone), hang on and hang down, play music vía BT (works awesome with my HTC Pure and my old Ipaq 614c). Also include an aux 3.5 jack for any mp3 player. There is a MEX-BT5000 who is more expensive cause the lcd panel is much bigger and i think shows more information than BT2500. Take a look and decide.

I have a JVX AVX 44 and I am sorry to say I cannot get the audio to work :( The unit worlked perfect with my N95, N96 & N97, but with my HD2 it shows its all connected but the audio still comes through the handset or I get no audio at all :(

This is the unit and it is awesome, I payed just under £500 for it the week it was released and I will be gutted if I am unable to get the 2 chatting together!

cant post a link cos I am new so just google
