Hardware wise, this is the best Android phone T-Mobile has, but it appears to be marred by this Touchwiz UI. I don't have one personally, but recommended it to my parents based on the specs. So, lets just fix it. As best as I can tell, the new UI is not all that complicated and could be some sort of Home Replacement. Does anyone want to try pushing Home.apk over?

Another thought would be to flash a Samsung Galaxy ROM for poops and giggles.

Samsung kind of mangled the entire settings menu, the keyboard(it is horrific), the dialer, contacts, messaging, and I'm sure I'm missing a few others. It is deeply ingrained just like Sense is with the Hero/Eris.
If I can get a recovery bootloader onto my Behold I'll gladly try flashing a Galaxy ROM after a nandroid backup.

I started this up elsewhere since there was a (slightly) more concerted effort.

See my above post, there are instructions on what could work if someone gives it a shot.

I'm willing to give it a shot, just how would I go about doing a nandroid backup without root(also I couldn't get this thing into fastboot using Galaxy instructions, anyone know of any for the Behold?)
