[HOW TO USE] Are you a noob? Don't know how to use this? So read this thread carefully : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211
[COMPATIBLE DEVICES] This ROM is compatible with GSM Diamond only. This ROM doesn't supports CDMA.
[AFTER FLASH] It's highly recommended to do a Hard Reset just right after flashing NBH file to the device.
[DEAD BOOT] Sometimes maybe boot process stop or first boot customization hang without any progresses. This is not related to ROM bugs, it happens sometimes because of some reasons. If that happened to you, just Hard Reset your device and try again.

You can't assign photos to any contacts and when you try, it takes you to the WM pictures instead of automatically goin straight to the HTC Album and enabling crop if need be !!!

ive installed your rom. I have not tested but it is very heavy on the diamond.15mb of RAM initial boot. But it looks good but is it is very slow. May be u can speed it by removing some of the programs that are not commonly used.

Diam100 Hasn't got enough memory free.
Not enough memory to launch camera.
Errrrm.. I think it's time to re-think the app list.
I have over 100 contacts and SMS's I restore with Pim Backup.
After this The manilla app just keeps crashing through lack of memory.
Then the phone crashed But I can't remember the app I ran before it crashed.

No, I have 19.5 ~ 21 MB RAM after soft reset with pagpool 8 and my camera to work easily.

installed....but probably not for long i'm afraid.

although there is a reasonable amount of storage space, the RAM usage is just too high.
i have changed pagepool to 8mb and still have frequent problems.
occasionally cant start camera or album...and although there IS enough storage space to install tomtom and a few other bits, you can pretty much forget actually running them unless you disable manilla first.

as i said, its a shame because its a graphically excellent rom, and there's obviously a lot a care and attention gone into it.

not sure if removing some apps would help....personally i dont need 2 IM clients, 3 media players, and 2 file browsers...some of you might, but i dont....but if i need to keep manilla disabled to make the phone useable i may aswell install a bare 6.5.x rom and get the storage space back.

Can not be denied that this rom of the beauty and speed, but not without its problems, for example, some shortcuts do not work and there are lists do not appear as clearly as the rom is not stable. For my part I think this is a beta rom and needs to be adjustments to be standard edition

Thanks TAEL will be waiting. I wanted to see a lite ROM 65%-70% RAM usage. Right now it is not that stable and Slow. but I believe you have to remove some programs that are not needed. The Vibration on the TF must be removed on the next version. If u can keep it lite as possible.

Unfortunately the poor memory of the diamond does not allow a perfect daily use with rom wm 6.5. you going to release a rom TAEL with WM 6.1. is possible in Italian?

There is no doubt that this rom will be perfect. In the meantime, since lack of memory be solved, can you create a version without Manila (Titanium and all the rest unchanged). It will be perfect for daily use.

I also absolutely love the WM 6.5.3 visual style of this ROM, excellent work TAEL! But as many people here, my TD has memory restrictions (only 4-7MB free :mad:), so it would be even greater if you can cook a ROM exactly like this one without manila. Do you think you are willing to do this....? :rolleyes:

I like this ROM too, but as other people have mentioned, it's quite memory intensive... And I can't get opera to work for some reason, the furthest I've gotten is attempting to load a site, there it always soft resets for some reason.. Also, the keyboard has some issues for me with the background not loading and looking all messed up.. But I'll be happy to try it again with the next version! Really appreciate what you're doing

Diamond not powerful enough in my experience!! It is possible to get Sense into a diamond rom, but when it runs it is slow and jumpy.

it also eats ram like a fatty eating doughnuts!!

Good start! I happen to have both Diamond and Raphael (Both running TAEL ROM at the moment ;)). I have not experianced any stability issues ROM related on either one of them, mostly Sense problem (understandable) and they have "workarounds". The key with Diamond is memory managment. If you can keep memory usage in check - you're golden. I've done some cooking myself, but I'm not nearly good enough and gave up. It's shame that Diamond is so crippled by such a small amount of memory but it-is-what-it-is.

Great job so far on both platforms! Keep up with it, my Diamond may still have some life in it :). Thanks!

Would just like to say thanks TAEL for an awesome ROM, I'm really enjoying WM6.5 so far.

I have however had a few problems with it. I am also experiencing problems with the slide to unlock app, once the unit is locked, it can sometimes take me up to 10 minutes to get it unlocked again, with a combination of soft-resets, turning off and on again or just sitting there constantly tapping the screen. I don't know if it's a problem with the touchscreen drivers or something but it is as though the touch screen is not detecting any taps at all when the unit is locked (if I tap constantly, the unit goes to standby after the normal amount of time, tapping does not make it stay on).

Another problem is with manilla, sometimes it will randomly close and say "tap to launch touchflo3d" but when I tap it, it will not launch again unless I turn the device completely off and on again.

And my last problem is when I am installing applications from cab files, sometimes the Diamond will reset half way through the installation, I can recreate this error every time when trying to install TomTom7 it will reset. Not sure if this is a problem with the ROM or some other software included within it.

If there are any error logs that you would like me to send let me know the location of them and I'll upload them.

Also, Is there any way to remove programs which I don't require/use? All I have got listed in Remove Programs is Opera. With the others can I just delete the .exe files from the Windows directory or is there a cleaner/better way to uninstall them?

the lock bug is a well known one, its an incompatibility between wm6.5 and manilla, almost every 6.5+manilla rom for the diamond has this bug

to unlock you need to press on the clock at the bottom of the lock screen a couple of times, then the slider works.

somebody DID find a fix for it, but i dont know where they posted it....someone will have to search for it.

IIRC it needs a DLL replacing so the rom will need re-cooking to fix.

dude i dont think you have any right to link other's rom on a particular thread....and specially the ones that includes sarcasm...

There are hundreds of chefs around and no1 is telling you to download the ram-hogging roms...its people's personal choice and let them download if they want to.....

If you really so much bothered then y dont u start cookin on your own and ya with 50+ mb of ram...

you can give suggestion if you want to.....but i dont think this attitude is acceptable...

You know, a ROM that only contains the basic OS and several CABs to install all the *personally needed* applications.

Hey Tael I am waiting for your updated release, I 'm using your Beautiful ROM since it was released but without TouchFlo (eats lots of RAM), Everything works perfectly SMS, MMS, GPS (very impressive), Camera, Dialer etc etc. Though did change the pagepool 12MB...
My suggestion for next release would be to add less software

hey chef..great work on the rom, though the memory is a bit of an issue BUT i couldn't help noticing the fact that your rom has a total of ~126 mb program memory!!!!!! how is that possible?? i have used a lot of roms but never seen such a drastic total ram, i know that the diamond has 192 mb ram out of which 64mb is kept for graphics which leaves us with 128mb but all the roms on xda have ~111mb total programs memory, will love to learn more about it:p:p

besides the already known issues I got this one as well: when I call Screen Rotator it changes to landscape and the whole start menu is f*cked up. the icons were messing up against each others. was a funny game to hit the right icon to change back to portrait.....

2- TF3D stops working gives a msg "Tap to Load Touch flow" after you tap nothing happns have to soft reset to load it again.

This ROM was in Alpha stage and there's no more development on it, but maybe in future I work on it to get best performance on Diamond.
