Fixed the problem with shaking touch pointer :)

If you hold the touch over some scroll bar you will see that the pointer keeps shaking. I've create a cab for removing that issue, tested it here and worked very well.

I don't know what GTX does to start menu, but you could try the registry change directly, just add the following DWORD:

Yesterday I installed it, I've played with it a bit and i wanna suggest you some modify :
-home button doesn't work: if I'm in audio section for example, if I press the home button, I'd like to move to Home section.
-few rong tones for incoming call: whilst for incoming sms i Have a lot of ringtones, about incoming voice call I have only few ringtones...how can I improve it? is it possible to set a customized ringtone?
-when I rotate the mobile, the screen get rotated. I think it s a good thing but why doesnt it work when I write a SMS?buttons could be larger, so i could use my fingers.

Unfortunately I've discovered a very bad bug: alarm doesnt work correctly.
Yestrday afternoon i set the alarm and it worked.
Yestrday night I set the alarm, then i switched off the radio function and this morning the alarm didnt work :S:S:S
I don't understand why in 1 of 3 alarms the time has a black background whilst the others have a white background.

I've been using this rom for a few weeks and tried a lot of things. Well, sometimes I mess with the system and need to hard reset.

In the last hard reset, I've tried to increase the pagepool from 12MB to 14MB, just to see what happens. I haven't done any kind of real test, so I can't say it for sure, but HTC Sense seems much faster to my eyes.

I can say that I'm really not missing those 2MB for program usage. The only kind of bad experience is with Opera Mobile, it gets out of memory with more than one tab (some times take a lot of time to draw a page). But, as I use Opera Mini 99% of the time I need a browser, that is not a problem.

If you are planning hard reseting, you could try it too, just use the pagepool tool (that comes with the rom) to change it.

wow, seeing that even after almost 3 months my rom is still this popular really suprised me
as you might know, i have an HTC Hero since November '09, but i still had my Diamond so i kept on developing
after the R2.6 release i handed the diamond over to a relative of mine, but i might be getting it back in the following weeks
i have my exams now so i even if i do get it back, i won't be able to do anything until the end of this month
i'm not going to promise anything, but if i do get it back, i might reboot the Gen.Y diamond development starting from scratch, and update D2X for one more (last?) time

*ps if i do get it back, i will definitly update the PX-D rom, since android on the diamond is getting ready for daily use

-i never use finger keyboard ... so this is a bit waste of ram for me

-the previous button is a bit misalligned

-is there a chance that you can update opera to ver 10. i think this would be a significant update. maybe even office 2010?

-no auto rotation for sms (the only place where i could truly need it), maybe the new messaging client? ... i disabled the auto rotation - didn´t work properly. edit: switched off manila rotation switched on sms/mms rotation = everthing is fine

Guys, i could take fingerkeyboard out, but EZinput is still the default in my builds, and fingerkeyboard takes up 1.3MB. it won't use up RAM while it's not in use, just storage. is it really worth it?

the problem with updating these apps is as far as i know a lot of the functions of sense use the specific versions that are in the build. from what i remember yoz tried updating these packages once but half of sense stopped working..

I use the Gen.Y rom long time. Unfortunately, my speaker for phoning went down, and I didn't re-flash the original boot-loader, so they didn't repair my phone :-(
Since I like the device, I would like to use it as pocket pc without the phone part. But I have two problems: when I switch off GSM, the GPS will not work, and I would like to give other functions to the phone keys, but they are not mappable in the settings.
Any ideas?

This monrning my room mate woke me up: it was 6.22. So i Turned on the display and clock showed 6.12....so I turned on the radio and suddenly it refreshed to 6.23 adn the alarm didnt clock.....
This week end I will go back to original rom even though sadly because I like a lot this rom( my first not original rom) but I need to have a trustable clock.....

i would just recommend whatever the radio is that yoz recommends in his first post - my alterations don't go deep enough to make a change in radio necessary.

i'm not sure, as i always used my phone with exchange and our policies locked the phone manually, i never needed to use the lock screen. i would check in the gtx thread or maybe the cht thread to see if anyone else is having the issue. possibly i have configured the lock screen for WM6.1 incorrectly, if you find somewhere that has a step by step on how to install the WM6.1 lockscreen for GTX or CHT let me know, i'll have a look and see if i can make any changes.

interesting, cos i did include that cab file in my build. i did a bit of investigating, and a registry entry in my ROM is set incorrectly. you can fix the lock screen problem without reinstalling the cab file by changing:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"Home.lock.Enabled"=dword:00000000

to

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"Home.lock.Enabled"=dword:00000001


so - basically just change the 0 to a 1 on Home.lock.Enabled.
this will be fixed in newer builds, but i can' be bothered recompiling everything just for this :)

And when I play the mp3 in WMP it works fine.... but I loved the interface of the HTC music app.

I tested this rom on the broken phone and I want to move to it as the rom i have currently is causing major problems and non functunal for long periods even after restart, i have just realised that it does not support video call? Is there anyway around this?

Is it a case of installing Gen.Y D2X 2.6 with Rhodium Dialer? and then adding cookies home tab myself.

Sorry i am confused is the rom above not abloe to support it at all or is it the dialer not helping me?

*problem solved i did what i thought would do it above, was easier than i first thought didn't realise cookies home tabe came as cabs.... =)

Im trying to use Phone Dashboard minute tracking to make sure I dont go over my monthly plan:

Hiya i have this rom on 2 of my Diamonds, one has Radio 1.11.25.01 and the other has Radio 1.13.25.24. I am using the latest GTX releases on both.

When I get send a text or make a call, the O2 balance notification pops up and 90% of the time crashes HTC sense, which then restarts.

I have turned off USSD, but sometimes i need it to keep track of my account balance.

Is anyone else having theres issues, or know whats actually causing it.

Sense version : very great, no problem for the time being ... execept the fact that i did not find the way to turn off MS Exchange option in connection menu (each time i connect my PC to mobile, Exchange is starting)

Is it a known bug of this version ?

GO to connection , unselect Exchange option, and then, all is working well.

i have just flash the Rom succesfull from internal storage . after reboot i can config Date and time, the next screen is showing half black and white and "finished". i have the german version.
what's going wrong? nothing go on.
Step's i have done befor flashing:

hardreset

have you tried tapping the screen? i had that problem too.. it will just sit there until you press somewhere on the screen.

other question, i have install call history.cab.
but it push the weather ani. two lines up and i can't it see anymore because it is white font and clock is white too.
is there any solution.?

I had this annoying problem after flashing for Sense 2.6 for the last four days!!
My HTC T-Mobile diamond keeps resetting (HARD reset) and windows start sometimes with error code box and most of time soft reset doesnot work. I went through all posts and people are talking about bad memory, memory cards or defects....etc.... all bullshit....

Your phone works just fine but this is a bad flash or clog-ups !

I tried the recommendation posted in the original post for MTTY flash via USB from computer... step by step EXACTLY. read Post 4: MTTY Instructions For FLASHING FROM YOU SYSTEM

After flashing I installed all software, navigation etc... and it WORKS 100%. No problems at all. so my explanation it that the MTTY phone format and flash is essential for any new rom flash.

MAKE SURE TO Hard-reset AFTER TASK 8.

a: FULLY COMPLETE POST 1

1: Bring device into bootloader (Reset + Hold Vol Down), this will show the Red, Blue, Green screen showing "Serial" - Connect device in bootloader mode to USB, the word "Serial" will change to "USB"

2: Run mtty1.42.exe, You will se a box showing "COM1" from this list select "USB" - If USB isn't in the list, something has gone wrong in the "Driver Installation" Section of POST 1

3: Leave default parameters, (8 bits / Flow Control NONE / Stop bits 1 / Parity None / Local Echo No) and Click OK

i would definitely suggest you try a MTTY and reflash the ROM. sounds like typical symptoms.

I disabled manila - in order to free up some RAM for I-Go - through Today setting. But after it I can not access All Settings to enable mania. I just have a blank Today screen, with Calendar and Contacts buttons at the bottom of the screen.

There's still an old annoying issue with the sense clock freezing in home tab when you activate the PIN code lock of WM6.1 and soft reset. This bug is present also in the sense 2.1 version of the rom, since the 5.3 version.
The only workaround i found is to restart sense, all the other tricks (automatic changezone, autotimeupdate, disable flipping etc..) are doing nothing.
The Windows clock shows the correct time but sense clock is stuck.

Any ideas?

Something went wrong while flashing, you should try the MTTY method on your device. I didn't wanted to do it because it's complicated and requires time to setup but my Diamond went totally crazy (hard resetting after a reboot, error messages, no softwares...) and now works properly. ;)

i really really like this rom... think it's very good for everyday usage, and love how the screen rotate function works like a charm, but i have a few questions:

when inputing text (sms, email, browsing) the input is very laggy, with bad responsiveness. i have the same problem while pressing start key and taskmanager key (lags for a couple of seconds). i had similar issues with enery rom, but for that rom it's obvious ram consumption is the main culprit. and yes if u were wondering i did mtty before flashing and hardreset before first usage.

secondly, is it possible to add programs shortcut tab to sense, the way it's setup in tf3d 1.1 (original mda compact 4 rom).

is it possible to add support for zooming in with touch sensitive wheel in opera 10, and going through menues with it?

and if none of the above is possible to fix can u point me in direction of cab which adds full autorotate function to the whole gui?

There's not much changed on the GTX theme, just a few updated apps. GTX with CHT 2.0.0 isn't out yet, so i wouldn't say it's worth upgrading to if you're currently using the GTX ROM.

yeah its with every song and this circle what i meant i signed with a red rectangle on the photo. that circle because of updating the library maybe but when it succesfully updated the library the songs were stopping. that circle appears automatic every time when im coming to this music screen (tab)

Nice cool work but one problem for me.
In previous ROMs Sense always displayed calendar events on home tab under the clock.
In this rom I see only "calendar" and no events.
It's important for me 'cos if i don't see them on home page i forget and my meetings are gone :(

Any solution?
