your rom is great! been testing for the last few hours, no major bugs and ram is acceptable, the look and feel is very good, only thing is this is a wm6.5.x build and personal i really dislike the big buttons beneath the Sence interface.

The aligment of HTC Sense 2.5 is to low. This is after a few resets, after installing it was oke. But now manila is to low on the screen.


Does anybody has a solution for this problem or a tweak!

I found the problem, it's SHOWCASE, that taskmanager is causing screen disalignment. Only version Showcase v1.0.1b is good the newest version has bugs.

Showcase is absolutely fine here.

I really don't understand what you actually mean by problems with alignment of manila.

No alignment problem here at all. I guess you're the only one who is reporting this and it seems that you need to reflash the rom. after reflashing, when it comes to alignment, do a hard reset. when it comes to alignment again, do another hard reset (I always do it 2 times and it really helps with speed and the usual hickups).

Ghost, considering the hardware limitations of Diamond, I suppose it's virtually impossible to get wm6.5.3 and HTC Sense on our fragile Diamonds and get a better result than what you've already achieved.

So far as graphics/icon-sets/coloring and presentation are concerned, your rom is obviously the most appealing in the entire Diamond arena.

there's sometimes a little lag in Sence , which is an indication of huge differences between an HD2 and a Diamond !

There are problems with Camera and video which I don't really care (I never use the stupid camera of Diamond anyway).

I couldn't figure how to fix the Lock problem--when the phone is Locked, it's impossible to Slide_to_unlock ; it simply freezes there and i have to do a soft reset. So I never Lock it !

Showcase
First deactivate Sense and activate Titanium, and than boot the HTC diamond. Than deactivate Titanium and activate Sense, you see that when Sense starts it makes a little jump on the screen. After that tiny jump Sense fits perfectly between the taskbar and the bottombar.

When you remove Showcase you will notice that Sense doesn't make that jump after re-activating. But Sense stays al little too low on screen. So between the top of Sense and the Taskbar you see ca 3 mm of the background wallpaper and at the bottombar there is 3 mm missing of Sense because thats behind the bottombar.


Unlockscreen
The problem with the lockscreen is easy to solve. Just copy the two *.cpr files in the zip-file to the \windows\ directory on your diamond.

TWO DAYS I have spent trying to get my phone back on its feet. I have tried flashing with the phone in SPL, flashing from activesync and every other combination and guess what... I have to do it all over again... 10 times so far.

If anyone is thinking of a 28000 rom - my advice is dont bother.

Using Showcase....
Press the window key 1~2 sec.(left down) You can see the showcase. Using the it, you can control running application program. It is likely to use Manager of WM6.1 task tool.

its pretty much wrecked the phone - and it took me over a YEAR to get the thing usable in the first place. Right now I am tempted to take a hammer to the thing

although it's sad to hear that a user has gone through such terrible experiences with this rom, but i'm afraid you're the only person who has had this weird problem. So don't you think the issue must be somewhere at your end (probably your device) and not because of the rom?

Try Gyrator 2.0 - although if you are using mortplayer I would be careful - they dont get on well together.

Well, I retried the joys of mtty but decided to use a trick I learned way back when.

I removed the HTC sync completely from the laptop and then reinstalled the driver by forcing it to take the version I had 'on disc' as it were... lo and behold everything works - flashed the 28000 rom from the laptop and the phone is fine again - Sense works and everything seems perfect..

However.. and this is the weird thing.. I checked on the off chance what version of the Sync drivers my laptop was now using... and it is now using the 2004 not the 2007 drivers! from what I saw on the mtty thread thats sposed to be t'other way round... but not complaining!

one other thing - if anyone else has this problem? - the jblend java seems to come up with a cert error - its not too much of a problem - I am just going to install jbed and be done with it..

Pressed the long key lock button, and it locked, but the slide to open did not slide?

Performing a hard reset now to see if I can get back in as a soft reset just brought me back to the slide to lock screen again

Overall I have massive problem with this Rom. I have Flash it twice, and performed Hard Reset numerous of times. Still it hangs, and it is really really slow. To bad thou it is some nice features in the rom wich I really like.

Anyon with the same experience? How to use MTTY That everybody speaks of? Is it easy? Cant find it somewhere...Using Windows 7.
