[Req] Elf(in) Cheifs and users some more querry...☺

Hello all, i cook for opal and as far as i know opal and touch (elfin) are very much similar.
But while cooking for opal in welcome screen my wifi autostarts (even its status is off while cooking) and if i turn it off today setting etc wont work.

So i want to know whether wifi autostarts in elfin too?? Plz answer
Although i have tried to change drivers but no success but still if elfin has no prob like that some one confirm plz i will do detailed analyse.

That nice to hear that is no problem like that in elfin.
Okay i skip making a new thread and ask few more questions iam sure that elf(in) cheifs or may be users can reply to the below.

1. Since elfin has no problem like that iam planning to port the oem driver of elfin to opal i did it i went slowly one by one everything was going great but just then my phone was not bootable. So that means there is some particular driver which is not compatible to opal. So, i request elfin cheifs can u plz identify and tell me which drivers are really device specific and i know that wont take much driver as i went through elfin drivers and its a little folder not like opal one.

2. My second question i couldnt fine wifi driver and some other that i saw in opal oem drivers folder in elfin why so? like TNETW1251.dll which is most probably the wifi driver of omap 850 devices.

Please if you could answer the above question it would be very helpful not only for me as also for the whole opal community.

well I think the drivers are the same since it uses the same hardware
try to cook it, I'll be your beta tester

just don't use opal radios on elfin because opal is a quadband device
I think thats the only thing different in opal based on specs

Yes i treid to cook it works with most of the drivers but still there is something that is causing the rom to be unbootable. Actually i went through oem drivers folder of elfin and opal and found that all the drivers present in elfin is there in opal plus opal has many additional drivers. Also i couldnt find the wifi driver in elfin.....


As soon as i get this thing solved and opal rom works fine then i will be cooking roms for elfin...:)
