Thank you for the answer. In my lastest rom (Onyx 4.9) I used EzInput 1.5 with IT-LPack and all worked fine. Now I don't find the IT-LPack for EzInput 2.1. Do you know where can I found it? I also try to install the IT-LPack 1.5, but it doesn't work with 2.1. I think that if you put in the first page a multilanguage .cab for EzInput, a lot of people can use it.

OMG, i just flashed the 1.6 extreme version. my storage memory left 3.13mb free, and for program is 3.10 mb free. OMG... i should flash the without manila version and see.

if u r using ELF, i recommend to go for Basic or Premium.. ofcourse bigger versions need bigger space and memory :)

Thanks for this great rom, I just installed the 1.7 Extreme version on my elf.

The music tab works fine but when I go to the library (audio manager), I can't read any of the artists or songs. They all seem scrambled and out of place. If i touch the screen some of them become visible and scrolling is available....

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Well let's see. I tried a lot of different things today. I noticed that i could do it once, and I got the weather from São Carlos, Brazil ( where I am located ). But just once. I noticed that in the settings tab the "location" does not work. And the problem is that in the weather tab, there is not São Carlos.

hope u do not have SDConfig.txt placed on root of your Storage Card, if so and if there is any error in your SDConfig.txt file, you may face such problem.

Meanwhile i have tried CORE 1.7 & found something for you
i ) Call log is not getting updated at all, means you cant see recent i/c,
o/g calls in list
ii ) Flash light fix is missing
iii) Inesoft phone not working properly in any of your version till
iv) Cab files are getting deleted automatically after installation

Então Manila é a interface gráfica da HTC, essa com a barrinha em baixo com o relogio, etc etc, ela também é chamada de touchflo, mas como essa versão é personalizada então chama-se manila. Vc consegue fazer o desbloqueio SIM em qualquer ROM (pelo menos pelo que eu saiba) tem um outro tópico que sempre fica em cima só sobre isso, se eu não me engano é só rodar um programinha, eu rodei no meu e desde então está desbloqueado.

O teclado que bem nesse é o touch-input que no caso eu acho o melhor. Já tenho o celular faz 2 anos e já fazem 2 anos que mudo de ROM, e finalmente fizeram esse teclado, o melhor.

2. Manila in some works M2D or Manila 2D is a Today Home's Application created by HTC.

are you using ELF or ELFin? I wonder if you may change Page Pool, as it has something to be defined on ROM Cooking time.. btw, it is 12MB.

i would suggest to please use CORE version and use SDAutoConfig wizard to add applications you need.

I don't think is the sdconfig since I have my SD card out at the time. And can you have the screen calibration screen and stuff before the customization? It will be less cryptic since I can't tell where the current position of stuff is.

EDIT:Finally, after about a million hard reset, I got through that screen. Now it shows install

Hey firstly this is a great ROM... everything works fine... but i have a small problem, my programs dont seem to close after i press the X button. long or short press i have to go to task manager and manually stop the program. Do u have any advice to fix this? Thanks

Dear, Thanks for appreciation. Actually HTC Task Manager is not compatible with Windows 6.5.3, and as X button has been moved to lower task bar that's why it does not close open applications. what u can do it use CleanRAM and CT Scheduler to close application using a scheduler.

This error usually appears if u do not have enough memory to load camera, as to save memory camera drivers are not loaded on boot.

if problem persists, u may install camera fix cab i post in my previous posts.

GEOPACK is already installed on ROM and Weather on Home Page is working.

All u need to do is, configure ur cities in weather page, update weather info and restart ur device, weather appears on home page.

Dear, this problem has not been reported earlier by any user. can u please advise how much of the left side becomes non-responsive. you may try screen adjustment from Start > Settings > System > Screen > Align

P3450 comes with 50 MB RAM I guess.. i suggest u to please do not use Extreme or ultimate ROM on it as these require much memory. try using Basic or Premium..

Hi, it happens the same to me but like chathar says you just have to align the screen here Start > Settings > System > Screen > Align

edit a problem that i have, maybe somone could help me, is that every time i restart the phon e the connection setup just propt saying that the operator that not exist in the database (Thats probably because i live in a country that not appears in the list of operators) Can i do something for that no to load on startup?

I've just flashed the athar extreme 1.7 on my elfin today. I've got the left side bug, resolved with the screen alignment. But I have another annoying bug : I can't setup a mail account. After I setup one, the account isn't created, and it displays "No account" on the manilla page. But the most curious is that the manilla tab comes with a little "1", as if it had downloaded the mails.
Before that, I've installed funambol, which automatically create a new mail account, and as I don't use it, I deleted it.
So if you have a workaround, I'd appreciate to see it.

Moreover, some buttons don't work, like the "New account" button on the mail page of manilla.

first of all for this nice rom this is my first wm 6,5 rom, previously i used many of the roms(6,1) which developed and published in this forum.

It is working quite nice and without so many performance problems in my elfin.

Including the advised problems i summarized the problems and hope that, followings may assist you in your next updated rom.

-Camera button on front page is not working,(My idea no need this button. Instead of this if you can put button for programs tab will be more usefull as the others done.)
-No Java (I am using extreme version of your rom so this should to be)
-not able to setup email under tab menu
-the buttons in explorer tab are not working
-weather situation in the home menu not working properly.(althoug i done according to advises it was updating after reset only. So each time you should to soft reset)
-i couldnt see remote desktop icon
-i couldnt see or find where i can set my phone to vibrate when connecting a dial (I am not sure if this is available in 6,5)
-music player issue as advised

first of all for this nice rom this is my first wm 6,5 rom, previously i used many of the roms(6,1) which developed and published in this forum.

It is working quite nice and without so many performance problems in my elfin.

Including the advised problems i summarized the problems and hope that, followings may assist you in your next updated rom.

-Camera button on front page is not working,(My idea no need this button. Instead of this if you can put button for programs tab will be more usefull as the others done.)
-No Java (I am using extreme version of your rom so this should to be)
-not able to setup email under tab menu
-the buttons in explorer tab are not working
-weather situation in the home menu not working properly.(althoug i done according to advises it was updating after reset only. So each time you should to soft reset)
-i couldnt see remote desktop icon
-i couldnt see or find where i can set my phone to vibrate when connecting a dial (I am not sure if this is available in 6,5)
-music player issue as advised

There are some incompatibilities with the newer builds of WM6.5(those which have bottom taskbar)
As an example - i installed pocketmusic bundle in your ROM and after installation it asks us to "Select the interface language" and gives a drop-down box. but i cant go ahead from here as i cant click the OK button which is supposed to appear on top right in older builds. Because in this case the Ok button doesnt appear on bottom taskbar too!!
Came across this trying to fix this problem with pocketmusic.
The workaround I used was: map a button to "OK/Close" with AEButton+.

Second problem solved by install M2DC then go to Fonts menu and select Home Tab Appoinment Description from Fonts Purpose and select Fonts Face to suite with my native fonts. ;)
For first problem see whether can adjust from M2DC from Softkeys menu!

Solved camera button by using M2DC go to Softkeys/Softkey Settings then tab "..." at Right Softkey Command will show Choose a file then select "Device\Windows\Programs\Camera.lnk". "Camera" will automatically appear at Right Softkey Name box.
You could find Manila 2D Customizer Version 0.29.235 by Mpenguin14 in xda forum. I got it from my local pda website. Please apologize me for I don't know how to attache the said file.

I too had faced the similar problem, but got the solution from the CHEF :D.
Just align the screen again (system -->screen-->align screen). Hope it will come in hand ;)

seems like u r using it on ELF, extreme is a heavier version and ofcourse need more ram.

for keyboard problem, you need to align screen from start > settings > system > screen > align.

sorry no info about ur keyboard related problem.
internet launch browser issue shall be fixed in next release, or u may use Manila Customizer to fix it.
for threated sms, u need to restart your device once you run the setup.

I have installed the "athar_extreme_1_8" ROM in my HTC touch. Somehow I didn't like the WM6.5 interface. Now I want to go back to WM 6.1
I have original ROM WM6.1 but while trying to install it, at 0% flashing, the phone reboots. I tried so many times but no luck. Is it because I have upgraded IPL from 3.07 to 3.10?

Excellent job!
This is by far the best Rom for WM6.5.xx I have tried.
I have installed the Ultimate version and although all the applications incorporated, in fact all you might need, the phone works very fast as compared to the WM5.1 it had.
This time the phone is working as a brand new device and faster than before.

If you could port this same version for HP910c that will be extraordinary.

ROM works fine. however, when i turned wifi on and started to connect to an access point, M2D crashes and wont load anymore. other buttons can work except M2D. tried soft reset and still the same. might need to reload rom.

is this a bug or is there a fix for this? want to keep using the rom.

i found a bug with time zone config. I'm from spain and i put time zone on gmt+1 paris, madrid, but at an undetermined moment it automatically changes to gmt+2 windhoek. Can you revise this for the next release?. Thanks.

I have also problems with the extreme rom.
It doesn't start. Sometimes i get to a red progress bar, one time it started to showing radio etc. symbols at the top of the screen but nothing else, one time i got the error message cannot install /Windows/delete.cab

I want to swich back to another rom, so that i can use my phone.

Can anyone please tell me how i can flash another rom from the bootloader??

It is a great ROM... very fast and stable, even installed Chinese support.

I found there had a lot ring / alert sound files in the lite ROM.
However, I can't Del them or even can't move them to the SD card.
Could anyone tell me how can I do this in order to release more memory from my small ELF.

Using the provided "customization" SDconfig with CABs does not run properly with CORE. A error window appear and operations stop. Had to open file explorer, delete SDconfig.txt then reboot to let the 1st boot & install & initialization complete.

Then WIFI seems to turn on by itself, don't know why???

FIrst of all I would like to thanks for this brilliant ROM , I tried couple of ROM , but I find this one more appealing to me . I installed "1.8 extream ". The only issue I found so far is that I am not able to play videos in "full screen" mode , I try to go in full screen , it automatically switches back to normal mode. I myself costumized/cooked some ROMs, yeras ago, u can look for the Blue69 3D Vista, based on Confused Stu ROMs, if curious :).
I was abble to flash the Athar Ultimate 1.8 to my HTC Touch Elf P3450. But i want the Athar Extreme 1.8 cause of the Manila App. The problem is that wen in the 1% wen flashing it gives an error " Invalid file size", can you help me with that please?

Dear, thanks for your interest in Athar ROMs. Kindly be noted that Extreme and Ultimate version can be best used on Elfin devices; with 64MB RAM, you are just overloading your device.

if you are still willing to use the same ROM on Elf, here's a workaround for you.

try installing Addictive CleanRAM and MemAid, both are available in customization wizard http://htc.gagbiz.com/htc/wizard.aspx

use task scheduler to clean ram periodically.. should work.

Try this way to make camera home screen shortcut working well...
Install cab on this attachment, and run this procedure... I already test this, and working properly...

Run the M2DC, go to Softkeys/Softkey Settings then tab "..." at Right Softkey Command will show Choose a file then select "Device\Windows\Programs\Camera.lnk". "Camera" will automatically appear at Right Softkey Name box.

If is possible to remove the numeric battery option and just display the regular one (the little bars).

At least I can still flash in bootloader mode.

EDIT2: Phone's ok, I managed to flash back the onyx rom... if anyone knows another good late Windows Mobile build, please let me know.

Even though I bricked my phone before, I'm gonna try it until it works! There are only two ROMs good enough for me and unfortunately this is one of 'em :D. Will report what happened later.

EDIT: Holly Crap I waited a bit longer (approximately 5 minutes) and it showed the official Microsoft Message and started loading... waiting...

Waiting 20 minutes already :( I'll try again and again, if it doesn't work... I'm gonna reflash the same ROM an try again and again :D

EDIT3: The struggle continues!!! It's trying to show a message 'cuz I hear the sound, but it doesn't show the message... neither of the buttons (except the digitiser) work... after a long time waiting it suddenly started loading the bar (YES!!!) and after the half way loaded bar it restarted... :@ I inserted the memory and sim cards, same, removed them... same, inserted the usb cable... I GOT SOMEWHERE FINALLY!!! I saw the loading of M2D Screen and restarted again... teh struggle continues...

EDIT4: Okay, if the cards are inside it won't load, if the usb is plugged it will restart, if neither is in the chance to load without anything happening ain't that big neither... I'll try two more bootups then it's re-flash time and again...

EDIT5: Re-flashed and couldn't do it 5 times... keep going.

EDIT6: I managed to get the error, it was in customization, here it is:

Aberrantly that's what's causing the problem... I'm gonna try an older version, 1.7 perhaps.

@chathar read my comment and please do something about this error... or at least give me some advice... if you're still active.

LAST F***ING EDIT: No luck with 1.7 too... it just won't budge... I'm installing my previous ROM... what a waste of time.

Guys, i am sorry to leave you in no support situation. actually my phone was snatched on gun point few months back and i am unable to work on this ROM any more..

shall come back with WP7.5 apps soon, as am now proud owner of HD7 :)
