[Edit] Is it not showing up because I renamed SPDClient.apk to .bak?
Thanks

Not to worry...
If you have frozen those 3....The update won't occur...g

I had that same issue when I rooted my phone. There was something I had to do to get Towelroot to work. It didnt work the first few times that I tried it.
Read through this thread and see if you can find the answer.

This is an old thread and I am grateful that there is new activity.
It helped me remember why I rooted my S5 Active.

I rooted because some of the apps I wanted for my S5 Active were not available on my phone but were readily available on my wifes regular S5. The developers blamed Samsung, Samsung blamed the developers, and round and around I went with them.

Rooting and changing the build.prop fixed all that for me.

Am thinking about going back to stock in hopes that its all been cleared up by now.

Can anyone with a stock S5 Active go to the Play Store and tell me if these apps exist:
Backcountry Navigator
Sleep as Android
