And I did it manually. I checked my EBR files and its quite different than other devices. My Data and FAT partition where all in EBR2. So all I need to edit is the EBR2.

what is your phone?

Thanks for this tool,, this works each time with all the combinations i tried so far,, 3gb, 4gb, 6gb,

BUT after restart,, it no longer works and asks to format internal sdcard0,, and at each restart the data on card is lost.

though the phone memory remains OK.

My phone is micromax canvas gold a300,, (mtk6592) octacore, 32GB, KitKat.
Seems like this is somehow not compatible with my phone.

can you please look at my phone's stock EBR and see whats going on n why n if it is fixable. Thank you.

stock EBR attached.

Cool EBR Partitioning
SIR,
Im just a newbie. How about mt6582 with single EBR?
My phone STOCK ROM only had EBR1.

The 2GB partition are being shared by Internal Storage and Phone Storage.
However, it gives me some trouble porting another ROM.
The whole 2GB will be occupied by Internal Storage and the SDCARD will be present as Phone Storage.

Any idea regarding this one?

Thanks in advance...

After seeing the excellent thread by the user nrupesh2912 where he show
how to resize the partitions of phone storage and internal SD card storage,
i decided to make this tutorial showing a program
and how to use it to modify the EBR files automatically depending on our need

<<< Attention >>>
These options need to be fixed:
4,5Gb
5Gb
5,5Gb
6Gb

Step 1: You need EBR1 and EBR2 files from your original stock rom

Step 2: Download the program HERE

Step 3: Put EBR1 and EBR2 files in the same folder of the program EBRtweak

Step 4: Now its time to run the program and select the new size to
your phone storage, remember that your internal sd storage will get smaller

Step 5: It's done, you have made two new EBR files (green rectangle) and
two backup files (red rectangle). To learn how to flash the new EBR files, go to this thread

Special thanks:
