I want to report a bug ( Z5 user )
something horrible will happen if you do next :
-With non plugged earphone go and play a song (any)
- Plug in headphones ( NOTICE : I don't advice you to put them in your ears )

this really can cause some serious damage guys
I noticed that it happens only if I plug my earphones when the song is already started .

@PDesire
After installing xm (with project yume) i can't install xm drivers, it tells me I have no busybox/root.
Xm without yume worked great..

When will we see complete support for Xperia Z5P? In the OP it states it's buggy for Z5 line. Project Jinhua works well for me without any bugs, hope to see an update for it too.

Z1 running 5.1.1 customized stock rom(Dstriker)
Default setting with addtional Heavybase option enabled cause music lagging.
on Min CPU 422MHz/Ondemand, frequent lagging occurs.
on 422MHz/Interactive, less lagging happens.
Maybe 300MHz Minimum will show more..

It seems to be little heavy for Z1.

    FAQ:

Can you flash one version over other version?
    Of course :)

My device got hard bricked, do you fix it for me?
It's a MOD so you have to be responsible for any damages!
But it should not damage your phone.

    Why I made this?

I Sold my PC, that means I can't develop so fast anymore, on Christmas I Get my new Laptop, sorry that you have to wait

I want to give you that as my Christmas Present because I can't release V20 on Christmas ;)

And I have one thing to say:

TIME TO RESTORE THE QUALITY OF PROJECT DESIRE

Next week is the release of Project Desire 25.0: Crystalline Harmonics

This will be a milestone for Project Desire and my Christmas Present

This will definitely beat all Project Desire versions, the bass is incredibly improved, also the clarity

This will be the restore of my Old Engines CryRez and P2SE but improved with my new Soundmod experience

Let's make Project Desire to a Prestige Soundmod :highfive: :highfive: :highfive:

And about the last days: No I won't stop PD. I can't let you alone ;)

NO, I will now try to improve my full development experience to the Maximum Level

I don't want to be only a Soundmodder anymore, I will go to be a ROM Developer on 6th January with the Desire ROM

Also next year I will release new themes for our Xperia Phones

And I am learning now Java, then Smali and then C/C++, it's time that the XDA Community try to get our phones to the maximum of all

Let's try to make Our Phones to Future directing things which will evolutionize the full world

It's not enough to make the best sound, all should be perfect on Android and we as Community can do that, I hope someday the full community comes together with all of the best devs and make Android To the perfect system.

That's my wish to XDA :)

I think that is the right thread to reach the most people, I have some news for you.

We are all people, we tend to change ourselves alot, so does our actions, so does manufacturers, so does everyone.
We are individuals in an infinte change, so am I. I have literally no time to maintain Project Desire, and not even the possibility anymore. ´

After Sony went full bananas with their TA Partition Policy, I tried to get an alternative to the Sony phones and found Google. That's why I'm owner of Pixel XL and Pixel 2 XL and also soon Pixel 3 XL. That's the cause why I can't continue Project Desire that much anymore, and now my second reason:

I have a private life, which is right now changing alot, especially because I have now a job as software developer for the big companies, so literally what I've dreamed of. But this takes alot of my lifetime, so I have less of it.

For a long time, many people on XDA didn't hear about me, I wasn't there anymore for ages, but sometimes I just have seen how XDA changed these days, and I'm not happy with it.

First: How Manufacturers care about XDA

They care very much about XDA, yes they do, because they wanna defeat the modding community.
There are just few manufacturers who honestly care about that like Google or POCO or Xiaomi nowadays.
And the other ones who wanna disallow that at any point of view (looking at you Sony fighting with Sony OSS).
I see great minds like Jerpelea bottlenecked because of Sony, which is sad honestly.

    Second: The community

Honestly the number of trolls and people who violates rules increased expotentially, XDA wtf happened with you ?
I know so many people calling this forum "****hole", and somehow I understand that, otherwise I disagree. We have still great minds here but we humans cherry-picks the bad things inside a group of people, and nowadays it's very easy to do that here on XDA. Maybe an mistake of our devs, mods, admins, I honestly don't know, maybe it's all our fault for that. But literally every group I see dies because of that, which is sad.

    Third: Money making with Mods

This also goes to XDA (Especially Navigation Gestures) and also especially to Substratum, but also to the others who does do the same: Your way to commercialize your mods is a no go, it's something which won't promise long success. Guess how CMTE died. Substratum, why the actually **** you care so much about how to let users pay for their themes ? Why you even have done an own company out of it ? Projekt LLC ? Did you guys wanted to support XDA and the community ? Or just making you richer ? You call Alex Cruz retarded because he is against that, okay maybe he has weird opinions but sometimes he is not wrong at all, especially about that. You have done a great job, but where is the love behind that ? It's hidden behind the money making machine. And that counts for every "We create a mod to get your money" thingy. Give the users the freedom to support you, and do not force them, otherwise you know guys they mostly find a way to break through it even if it's legal or not.

As some people have seen, ZeroTwoAudio is out of the PlayStore, and I did that to give you the freedom to upload YOUR version of ZeroTwoAudio. It's your turn community, do your Project Desire, not my Project Desire anymore.

You will sometimes find me somewhere else to help out some people with their projects, but I still wanna say: Thankyou for these 4 years, which changed me, my dreams, everything, without this community I wouldn't even have that job.

This letter should not attack anyone, that's just my opinion about things.

P.S. even if I won't maintain Project Desire anymore, it doesn't mean I won't help you. For example StatiX OS Angler sent a mail to me if I could help them: And I will because after all I am like Chainfire: A Software Developer

    Your PDesire
