I have a phone that I received as an insurance replacement (long story; they (ensquared now defunct) sent me about 4 DOA phones and then a different model and wouldn't even contact me back to take back the last bad DNA, hence it's been sitting in my closet for 4 months). This one has some major issues with wifi, being that it will disconnect, turn itself off, or generally misbehave with a minute or so of a successful connection. My troubleshooting steps have been a factory reset and messing around with wifi settings. It is running stock s-on locked 4.1.1 and I can't seem to update ota as wifi disconnects before it can start the download. It will actually connect to the wifi when it does, seeing that I can load a we page and have no sim in the phone. Any ideas on how to fix this or if I can update without OTA using stock recovery?
