Default Greenify vs Facebook Messenger

With all the talk and theories about the new FB Messenger App, would Greenifying the app squash all the concerns (real and otherwise)?

It probably would, however, if you install App Settings (Xposed) you can manually revoke and permissions you don't want it to have. Also, the Gummy ROM has great App Ops that you can revoke permissions, and also see if the app has ever used those permissions. I know that Twitter read my SMS messages... not sure why, but it's revoked and won't happen again.
Please say thanks if a post helps you out.

Look at the permissions there is nothing new here between facebooks permissions and messenger.
For that matter Skype, Google plus, etc..

Totally forgot about Xposed. I have it, but haven't yet installed the App Settings modular. Thanks for the reminder,

Jimothy
