hello

bought today used XT907, it comes with 183.46.15 (BL Locked, cant root)
all is working phone. available space is 4.6 out of 8gb on factory reset

now after installing several apps , new apps downloads but on installation gives error : Insufficient space available
but more than 600Mb is free in phone memory. this is getting on my nerves
no download app has option of move 2 sd card as well,

I have tried clearing cache of google play as well
when I enter recovery through Button Combinations. It says No command provide (or something like that, dont remember) instead of option of reboot /data cache reset etc

To enter recovery when at that screen with Android Andy on his back that says no command hold vol up and tap the power button... Try to move all your documents and pics to your SD card... The bloat apps that you don't use uninstall the updates and disabled them... Clear the cache of all other apps...

We cannot teach people anything; we can only help them discover it within themselves.

From what I can tell, most versions of Android (since at least ICS) will attempt to reserve some space so that you don't fill it all the way up (which can cause a multitude of problems). Thus, the cutoff for installing apps is right around 500-600 MB on most devices.
