When I bought my Droid RAZR MAXX when the Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4) update came out, it came with some sweet apps, namely the Alarm app and the News & Weather app. However, since updating to Jelly Bean (4.1.2), those apps are gone, and now that I've moved on the the Moto X, the alarm app is a little strange and not as easy to use as the old alarm, and the new Google News & Weather app is the same way. I'm noticing this pattern with Google OS updates.

I've lost the backups I had from the RAZR Ice Cream Sandwich, so is there a place here where those backups are stored or where would I find them? I've searched Google and here and haven't found it yet.

I discovered I can backup the system apps in /system/app (using ES File Explorer even without root access), so I believe someone has done this and there's a copy somewhere. Really I would love to have the full OS download (from Google or Motorola or whatever) with the apps as well. Thanks.
