What is a good messaging replacement?

I used to use Handcent but the stock if fine but it will not display the message times.
Kind of like the stock dialer which gives days not times, which I hate also...

Evolve seem to fit the bill. Shows complete time & date.
Go has a running date between messages while Ev leaves out the time, it is fickle

I'm using textra. Been fine. Free version has ads. Haven't decided if I want to get paid version. Ads don't bother me. Show up on top of main message page. I like the way it lists out the android emojis and the visual customization.
