HOLY IT WORKED. I checked for CID with "fastboot getvar cid" and it gave back 22222222. So I just went for it and put in the s-off commands. Rebooted in bootloader. "JEWEL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL"

I'm glad you posted this. I been going nuts the last few days trying to do the same. If you could do it again was there a faster way or a common issue someone may have going into this? I was trying to avoid this method because of everything you said but I'm desperate and determined since I did another, (with a upgraded bootloader), with no problem.
