My Omnia came with google maps (old version) preinstalled. I installed the newest version into My Storage, but had difficulty pinning it onto the start menu (because both shortcuts have the same name).

After renaming the old one to Google Maps (old) I managed to pin the new one onto start menu and unpin the old one :)

But now the new one shows the old one's icon. If I rename it to Google Maps (new) then it shows the new icon, otherwise it shows the old icon.

Any ideas? :p

I need help in this matter please. I bought mobile from Dubai and now I am in Kuwait. I cannot goto the dealers here to get it fixed, because HTC Snap is not yet available in Kuwait, so there is no support for it.
I have tried:
[ROM] Official HTC Upgrade - Windows Mobile 6.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=570417)
[8-23-2009 HTC Snap Asia/WWE WM 6.1 (Unbranded) ROM 1.19.707.2] (OS ONLY) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550863), but i cannot install them because my HTC Snap keeps on rebooting before the windows load. My computer doesnt recongnize the device, so there is no way to install these ROM's. i have tired hard reset too, but it didnt work

I wrote a quetion to HTC, why they are producing PDAs without D-pad. On internet there are forums full of complains at missing D-pad. Here is the answer from HTC:

"Dear Diamant

Thank you for your enquiry about Windows Mobile.

I've not seen any requests for a d-pad on the HTC devices, but I will forward your feedback to our main office for them to keep in mind with future products.

Best regards
"

Please, write to HTC (click here http://www.htc.com/europe/CS_Mail.aspx ), when you are missing a D-pad. The more messages they get, the bigger is the chance to get D-pad back to new HTC PDAs.
