I am trying stock 2.0.6i beta right now, rooted with Kingo root and so far so good...
Having only issues with GPS performance, but had those before on Kulay lately..
Could be hardware related, since I dropped my phone too often ....

That's right, that did the trick, however, I guess I flashed a version of 2.8.5.0 without unified partition support , since it's behaving unstable:
Half of the screen keeps running vertically...

I unified the partitions from Stock recovery after flashing the stock 2.0.6i, then applied root ( Kingo) then flashed twrp openrecovery 2.8.0.5 using TWRP manager

Well, gps performance regarding accuracy and TTFF ( Time to first fix) is indeed worse regarding find7 latest KK bases.
My good and old Galaxy Note 2 got better signal accuracy and faster fixes even if it's viewing less satellites then the Find 7.
It could be software related
Perhaps some of you could run some tests using GPS Status app or alike ( run tests always outdoors)

That's the only issue I am having so far with the stock 2.0.6i beta rooted and with unified storage.

I was having some stability issues with the TWRP 2.8.0.5, but I solved that by replacing it with the 2.8.0.4 version,
It mounts everything fine and recognizes and works fine with all partitions.

Now let's hope that a clean install of the next Makulay, will solve my GPS issue

Yes, I think I really need a Full wipe rom install to see if I solve my GPS issue.

@tantrums, do you need a beta tester for the 2.0.6i base? Just ring a bell
