one last check to see if I got it right
  1. Make sure you have LVM compliant TWRP (I think 2.8.0.1 is ok)
  2. Download setuplvm_find7_FULL_WIPE_09012014.zip (not sure if it's the latest though)
  3. Copy LVM Ready Rom on external uSD (I think LVM will wipe the internal SD)
  4. Recovery flash setuplvm
  5. Reboot recovery ?
  6. Flash rom
  7. Reboot
  8. Flash gapps

Also,

Yes, and the reboot recovery is also necessary.

One thing to note: After flashing setuplvm, you'll have an older (but still LVM-aware) recovery and might want to reflash the latest TWRP. I need to create a new setuplvm ZIP, I'm deciding to give up on flashing an LVM-aware recovery and simply requiring TWRP 2.8.0.1 or later. I'm going to try and simplify this over the weekend.

Also, usually, you want to flash Omni (or PA) and flash gapps at the same time, THEN reboot. DU may also support LVM, gotta talk to Alex.

You are correct - setuplvm will wipe internal SD. So both setuplvm, gapps, and whatever you're flashing have to be on the external SD (it fails to reformat/wipe the internal SD if it's being flashed from the internal SD). Also, if you're already running an Omni nightly that's more recent than late August, no need to flash it. Just setuplvm (which will wipe) and reboot.

Thumbs up
Thank you for the answers
I'll probably wait for your new setuplvm to jump to LVM
(I'm still on TeamEOS atm)
Still not decided between Omni and Dirty Unicorns (I think D.U. 8.0 is also LVM aware)
