Amazon Fire Phone with Fire OS are neat and even more awesome with Google Play so you can install your favorite apps & games.

Here is the how to video, Enjoy

Download Google Apps:

Links:
ES File Explorer
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...gs.android.pop

APK Downloader
http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/

Note:
- It look like this method is working best with the Fire Phone running software version (Fire OS 3.6.8)

turn off 2 part verification
I had to turn off 2 part verification to be able to login to google play. I have new unlocked 32 gb fire phone running fireos 3.6.8. Once i turned off 2 part verification, login , and turned 2 part verification back on all seem well. Thanks to original poster.

Thanks for this. One step can be simplified by using ES File Explorer instead of Silk to actually download the 4 apk's - then they are in ES File Explorer in proper form already. Then just install them in the order shown, and Bob's your uncle.

I did that several times in exact that order but it is still not working. google play service is closed on reboot of the phone...
i also tried to install step by step and reboot after each apk, same problem.
Fire OS 3.6.6, locked to t-mobile, no root

if i install them in a row and open play store it says Gooogle-Service-Framework closed while trying to register my phone / log into my google account
this message is displayed 2 times, then i can put my account data an try to login, then "Process com.google.process.gapps was closed" 2 times
and then google playstore shows "no connection - try again" and this is where is gets stuck
reboot the phone: "Google Play-Service was closed"

Interesting, this was the same issue I have several weeks before - this was one reason I make my guide 'look and feel like...' Only with root

Must be an issue with the older firmwares...

The versions of Play services and Play store listed here are much newer than the ones (that I loaded successfully,) that are referenced on the original posts on this subject. You might want to try using the older versions and let them update.

Coming from 3.6.6 I could not get it run. After downgrading to 3.5 it didn't work as well. However, moving alls GApps to system apps, it finally worked!

From that experience, I am pretty sure that GApps without root may probably work on 3.6.8 phones, but not on the netlock 3.6.6 phones.
