I decided to give realplayer cloud a shot and from what I can tell it could be useful. However, after installing it on my FireTV, Win7 laptop, Roku, Android phone and Android tablet this is what I found:

All devices connect and can play videos uploaded to the cloud. However, I'm really only interested in playing off other local networked devices. Specifically, I want to watch tablet videos on my FireTV and to a lesser extent on my Roku.

PC: no access to other local devices by design. Working properly.
Roku: plays videos from PC, finds tablet but can't see any videos on it, does not see FTV or phone.
Tablet: plays videos from PC or phone, does not see FTV.
Phone: plays videos from PC or tablet, does not see FTV.
FTV: does not see PC, tablet or phone. Takes 5-10 login attempts before it actually logs in, sometimes claiming it couldn't login but it really does (can play videos on my cloud drive). Exiting and restarting or rebooting requires me to login again. I have cleared cache, cleared data, uninstalled, removed from cloud, then re-installed - no change. I have over 1G free space.

I've turned on local sharing on all devices and checked everything I could think of. Browsing the network with explorer finds the FireTV.

Ok, let's try this another way...

Is anyone using RealPlayer Cloud from the FTV store (not a side-loaded version) and are able to see and play videos from other local network devices?
