That may be responsible for why some of you are having troubles with getting it to work. I do all my builds with the 'production' flag, and it seems this bug only affects the production builds.

Should be fixed in next build.

As all of us can see, the experience is nice, but we can't tell that's smooth as butter.

Anybody know what is used for displaying: framebuffer/wayland/xorg or other ?
And what is the scheduler in use, CFS or other ?
Are cgroups used or not ?
etc ...

I can't understand how, with all this new tech, a powerfull device can't run smoothly.
Interface need to be always responsive, even if it's mean an app will be a little less performant IMHO.

What's you opinion about that ?

ZTE Open C (French E.Leclerc version)
light sensor : NOK
camera : NOK black screen
Phone Call / msg / Data / Apps / etc... : OK

First attempt via install zip not working but it's ok from CWM restore option, will you propose a .zip installation in future ?

I tried 1.3 official / 1.4 & 2.0 Kis 3 KonstaT ROM and I can tell that your 2.2 is the fastest & smoothest & well designed ! Thanks, Love it !

a little thing I saw : Settings > Cellular & Data > Network operator > Network Type : CDMA (but no big deal it works, French network : GSM not CDMA)
I think I remember the option there and it was : 3G preferred / 3G Only / 2G Only (drop-down menu)

I'm still looking How to Sync Contact in FFOS, thread : Contact Sync FFOS all versions

Default Blocking adds

Hi there,

I updated the original firmware 1.3 to 2.2 without windows.

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot boot /YOUR_PATH/cw_recovery_50.img
and then I unzipped your modUI and put it on the external sdcard.
There was no need to unlock my phone with any windows tool.

Everything works fine camera, video, audio, microphone etc.

It is sad that the browser doesn't support addons like adblock - Hello mozilla.

So I changed with:
adb remount
adb push PATH_TO_NEW_HOSTS /etc/hosts
the host file with

>>> (not allowed to post urls)

for blocking adds.

It doesn't feel slower but I have less adds.

Thanks for providing your build and make it public on github.

Default adding duckduck go to flame

I'm using a Flame Firefox OS phone (That is Firefox OS 2.2, nightly). I'm just wondering how you added duckduck go to the search options, since my greatest peeve about Firefox OS at the moment is that I can only search with Google, Yahoo, or Bing.
firefox os, firefox os zte open c, gaia, modui, zte open c
