Announced in June 2014, the LG G Watch is the South Korean corporations first attempt at an Android smartwatch. The G Watch runs on Google's new wearables platform, Android Wear. It has a 1.65" IPS LCD display with a resolution of 280 x 280, and a somewhat large, square shaped bezel. The watch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz processor, and has 512MB RAM. It comes with a reasonable 4GB internal storage. Other features include a gyro, accelerometer, compass and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Its 400mAh battery is claimed to provide 36 hours on time between charges. The watch meets IP67 specification, meaning it is water and dust resistant.
