Thought the battery drain might be a compatibility issue with the preview.

Well I have to correct myself now. Didn't have the issue before, but now it popped up. Not quite sure what I did to cause it or why it's happening now. Android wear now uses 50% of my battery, I only get about 8 hours from 100% to below 10%, that's half the time my phone survived before This sucks :/

Do you maybe have the app "wearable widgets" installed? I did, as soon as I removed it battery life went back to normal and the wear app doesn't use more than 1% battery any more

I had the same thing yesterday after I installed Wear Mini Launcher. A full shut down and restart of my phone solved the issue and it looks to be running fine again now.
