Default Same problem here

Guys, I've got the same problem - after installing Cyanogen 10.2 by TeamCanjica my phone's GSM module doesn't work. It can see a data provider name from sim-card, but cannot find any network (says "no signal").

I've tried installing CM10.1 and CM 11 - all the same, no GSM/3G signal.

My radio module firmware (as shown on phone) is I8160XXLL2.

After reading this thread I have two questions:

1) (the silly one) can this broblem be caused by installing clockworkmod recovery?

2) (the main one) where can I download stock JB ROM for my phone? I tried to get it from here (only found ROM for I8160XXMG2 for Russia): http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2340849, but the download link is broken.

Hope we'll find a solution :)

Alex

No - The mistake was to flash CM over GB ROM (XXLL2)

Search for file: I8160XXMG2_I8160OXEMG2_SER.zip in google - This is the latest JB FW for SER (russia)
Is your Phone a SER Version?? Or from which country? EDIT Saw a bit late that you already found were to DL FWs

But before you proceed I recommend to flash your Phone with 3-parted SER GB FW to eliminate any wrong remainders.

I've got a I8160XXMG2_I8160QXEMG2_HOME.tar.md5 file (it comes in a zip archive with an SS_DL.dll). Will it fit?

And, speaking in other words, I should now install (or flash) a GB ROM, then stock JB and only after that CM_any_version_i_like?

Or better should i flash to GB, then to CM and replace files as said in this thread (modem driver files)?
Thanks!

P.S.
I haven't been on any forums since year 2007. And going back - this is amazing!!!

exactly! Use 3-parted SER GB FW with ODIN (my link) to bring your Phone back to orignial status - Then your JB FW (with ODIN) - then CM you like

That was laFleur... laughed hard!!!!
Nevertheless, everything's fine now

I've already did everything (CM --> JB Stock --> CM. Tried it without 3rd part GB) and my radio module is UP AND RUNNING with CM11!!!! (I came to thought that I shouldn't flash CM over GB a few minutes after my previous post )

Thank you very-very much!!!
