what steps should i follow

Enter recovery mode via"vol.up+home+power btn alltogether"(device must be switched off)...else you can also use somw apps which helps to boot in recovery mode from one click in the app itself(need root for that)...

Follow the steps correctly while flashing..the moment odin says pass, pull the battery from mobile and reinsert..enter recovery mode"vol.up+power+home alltogther"...

Sent from my HM 1SW using XDA Free mobile app

I did the same as you and it did not work also. I think it is because our SM-G7102 are in 4.3 JB and not KK 4.4. The CWM in your link is for 4.4. So I gather that we need to upgrade to 4.4 first and then flash the recovery.
