so i can back up all my apps and games data first, then unlock and root, then restore data and all games data will be back on to my phone?

One more quick edit when you get the chance. Under Root delete "If it says can't find su.zip..." and everything after that. All the files are now included, so that's no longer relevant. Thanks! :)

Depends how slow your computer is. How much ram/processing power do you have.

You could skip that and just follow the manual instructions.
