Just showing my appreciation. Just flashed AOKP M4 and flashed Franco M2. And I gotta say the battery is ridiculously better than stock. My phone came on stock 4.0.1 and I got a bit below 3 hours screen on time. Now I've flashed these two and I'm not even afraid to surf and chat. Usually I try to keep chats short. But this is just so awesome. That I don't worry no more...

45 minutes talking while 45 minutes surfing = 81% (19% battery drain).

Yes that's at the same time

I would put screenshots up. But the xda app is acting up...

Nexus One - Medroid ICS - Stock Kernel - Expired - Screen cracked. Survived hundreds of falls

Motorola Xoom - Latest Tiamat nightly - stock kernel - oc'ed to 1.2ghz

Galaxy Nexus - Otter box - AOKP M4 - Franco Kernel M2 - GSM
Phone: Nexus One
ROM: Latest Cm7
Kernel: Latest Tiamat
Bootloader: LOCKED!!!

Tablet: Root Motorola Xoom [CAN] -- US Firmware
Rom: Tiamat Latest

Playing a game for 35 minutes and playing a movie for 15.. was anxious to put the screenshots and waste the batt.. In normal use (no gaming, no video) I can get easily the 4 hours mark..

* Add Imoseyon kernel download support by Imoseyon's proposal - this doesn't affect the app in any way and since we both share some mods like ColorControl and SoundControl it sounded like a good idea. There are some options like "Hotplug mod" that won't work with Imoseyon's kernel, but I'll leave those explanations for Imoseyon himself
* Fixed SoundControl options not being applied on Milestone 2 release
* Fixed boot animation removal after unchecking that option

The problem was not on the app it is on M2 now the app sound control is not working with any version of the kernel I restored with TB and went back to 98 an works please check into the app again

Thanks

Just flashed M2 over AOKP M4....I'm wondering how I can use this kernel since there is no trace of in settings menu....Should I get the app from the market to edit any property or I'm just too noob to see where those are actually placed? :)

Using franco.Kernel Updater (provide more settings) or Performance in ROM Control

I use franco.Kernel Updater - it's a really must have app.

You can use any program (SetCPU, SystemTuner or ROM Control) to set the CPU speeds and governor, but if you want to use the other kernel features then you will need Franco's app.

In all honesty, the app is worth getting just for the auto flash functionality. Not to mention developer support...

Download ES File Manager. Go to the Settings, in Root settings section (at the bottom) and check the second option Mount File System. Now you can delete and edit files. Be very careful though when you are doing this not to mess with something that you shouldn't!
