Does it works? Check CPU spy. If yes why not.

Try to disable smartreflex.

And unfortunately, some devices can't use low cpu clock and voltage.

The alpha 27 kernel with wifi MAC fix works for my slow wifi problem. I recently assigned my phone a fixed IP on my router, and since then the phone often had really slow data. Thanks for bringing this randomized MAC fix, and thanks to the xda developers that figured it out.
