Does anyone else get a behavior where you change the preferred network type, eg. "WCDMA preferred" but when you exit and go back in, it has returned back to normal, eg. GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)?

Also does anyone know what exactly the difference is between AUS and AUS2?

Nice thread OP, my suggestion is add how to fast boot radios, iv read it loads of times around but not really having much expierice with fast boot I can never remember.

Would be even better if someone could make a one click .bat file to do it all like the latest boot loader thread but that may be just wish full thinking

You do realize that the .bat file in the latest bootloader thread contains only 2 lines right?
Code:
fastboot-windows flash bootloader bootloader-maguro-primekl01.img
fastboot-windows reboot-bootloader
If you want to flash a radio, in the first line, just replace bootloader with radio, and replace bootloader-maguro-primekl01.img with the name of the radio. Save it and double click on it. Although it would probably be just as fast if not faster to type the commands in yourself...
At present, I am not readily available on the forums or via PM -- if you are in need of a moderator, please contact someone from this list.

I do NOT answer technical questions via PM. Post in a thread.

Yeah, I haven't been able to get radio network type to stick. I prefer GSM auto, but it never sticks.

Whatever you do, don't hit the UPDATE button. It will screw up your SMSC settings and the ability to send SMSs.

yeah I can't get WCDMA preferred to stick either. I am assuming it might stick until you re-enter the settings and then it just defaults back?

Thanks. I was unaware of this one. I've added it to the list and also repackaged it for CWM

RIL? You mean... Radio Interface layer? The kernel-component talking to the actual radio?

If so ... No. AFAIK your kernel already has that, and it shouldn't strictly need and updates either.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
