Here's a slightly older batt test I did w/ atom v8 and ak cylon (very similar to purity) moderate use... Atom v9 and cylon 734 are giving me even better results...

have u been gaming or anything gpu/cpu powerful things with this result? coz the display ontime seems very low for me... i am even getting 3-3,5h with 1.5... 1.4 was near to 4h

attached ones are with lower usage (u can see display ontime, but that was 1.4)

Re: [ROM][4.2.2] /// atom422 \\\ [v9] [03/06]

i agree. those are MUCH better than those ugly ass skinny ones. if you send me a zip of the images i'll submit them to vanir and if they don't want to change i'll make sure they go in ATOM

I don't think they're plain images, or then I'm totally blind and can't find them. I just found the basic battery icons and I think the percentage is added on top of the image somehow. The battery icon is from AOKP rom...

I suffer from very poor 3G signal. I didn't want to use airplane mode because that isn't accurate testing (IMHO)... I barely get any signal on the artillery range where I work... One bar at best, usually more time searching for signal than not  :D

There's no reason you shouldn't get 4. i can get 3 with 4G on all the time and max brightness with pretty heavy data usage lol.

i dont know why i have such issues :)

but any roms that i tested right now have the same behavior.

deodexed roms last about 2-5 minutes to get a gps fix
odexed roms take 5 seconds

fastergps or whatever have no effect on that

and i need the gps for navigation in my job

Re: [ROM][4.2.2] /// atom422 \\\ [v9] [03/06]

Gallery gives FCs after viewing 2-3 pics.

I know there was a previous grey picture issue but I am not sure anyone was having FCs.

    PLEASE READ:
This AOSP is not limited to CM, Vanir, CNA, EOS, AOKP etc. you get the best of all of them.. custom tailored for the galaxy nexus (and nexus 7 soon). no bloat for other devices or unusable additions in the source. the benefit? less bugs and a more optimized experience. More major features will be added from your favorite roms as soon as i can port and improve on them. I will listen to requests but don't get offended if i put them on the back-burner or decide against including them.

Disclaimer: my op is out of date. if you've been following my rom it's kindof a running joke. real disclaimer -> Because I'm using building using commits from every major repo in existence it may take a while to integrate some of the major features to my standards. I may release a stock AOKP feature as a beta until I have the chance to improve it but I'm not interested in band-aid fixing things or duck taping **** together just to get more crap under the features list and change log. Also, If you have questions or interest in building or joining vanirAOSP please message me on gtalk: activethrasher00@gmail.com and feel free to add me on google+

here is a link to the parent thread where you can view previous change logs and perhaps find an answer to a question

    general features:
vanirAOSP base: all features included, always the latest
    customized-for-speed launcher2
    optimized memory usage
current bug fixes and improvements from all major repos
additional features not present in vanir
    attention to the details
    minor custom UI theming
    custom embedded beats 5.1 drivers
    louder volume
    multimedia enhancements
    A-GPS enhancements
    inverted theme included
    add removal
    T5UNAMI v8 speed script
vanir kernel parameter config GUI bash type "vanir config" in terminal
    improved performance settings

    optimized networking

    better multi-tab browsing
    major bloat removal
email and exchange available in add-on packs
    Lean Kernel

    Issues:
none on my toro or nexus 7

    notes:
a lot of the features are hidden in the normal menus for a stock-ish look. look before you ask!

    V10 Release notes:

    some UI cleanup
    many bug fixes
layout fixes for tablet UI etc
theming cleanup (new glow icons from matthew0776)
some repos with -fno-strict-aliasing hardcoded by linaro have been set to use fstrict-aliasing (more butter)
plugged a lot of memory leaks since the last release
    some native code tweaks
localized some optimizations to remove regressions caused in some places when set globally
    compiled with custom NDK
    compiled with custom toolchain
stabilized cflags a bit to test my aliasing violation fixes mentioned above
    some script tweaking
    more logging removed
    bionic sin/cos optimization
removed unnecessary debugging code from performance critical libc & libm
    auto brightness curve adjust fixed
    tits, butter, skittles...

this is a pretty solid build. i'd consider it a milestone release except i didn't get a chance to test it as much as i wanted.
