I've just completed flashing from a complete wipe and so far everything is perfect. Except my charging seems to be only up to 99%. Do I need to recalibrate my battery?

I installed CM10 yesterday, coming from stock.

Works great, but one question though... Is it normal that the device doesn't automatically install all my apps? And that I don't see my stored wifi-passwords anymore? They should be backedup by Google right?

You have to backup all your apps with titanium backup and then restore it after you install the rom

I've noticed that in the CM10 in-built updater system that cm10.1 has appeared as a nightly. Can I just flash 10.1 over my 10 stable?

Or would a full wipe be best?

Dirty flashed last night, all is well, except for the well documented "need to clear data in the Clock app".
I only miss the bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 patches (which apparently are not included in the ROM just yet) from CM10. Not a big deal for sure, but having the artist/track name appear on my car's BT stereo is quite a nice feature. Hopefully it will be reinstated soon enough.

Thanks to all the devs who made this happen.

I dont care about 4.2 but i would like to use CM10. For some weired reason i get terrible battery life though. Using Franco r300 on teamEOS build works just fine with Franco... :(

Anyone here installed the latest CM 10.1 (dated Dec. 17)?

Superuser seems to crash here (clean install) most of the time, causing apps not to get root access. I don't have this issue with yesterday's build (Dec. 16).

The Superuser app is known to have caused issues in the past as well.

Did you disable Superuser beforehand?

freshly installed cm10.1 20121216-NIGHTLY and so far can't really complain.
Will just stick with the default CM kernel for a while to see how it'll perform.
Perhaps I've missed it but where have the developer options gone?

Go to Settings - About Phone. Tap on Build number seven times. Developer mode will turn on.

Has been answered several times before.

    Official nightly build of Cyanogen Mod 10 Rom for Galaxy Nexus

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,

    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    When it's ready and not a moment sooner. And like EddyOS said, do not ask for eta!

    Irrc, they're working on a WiFi bug before starting official 10.1 nightlies for our device.

    Oh come on. I hate it when everyone starts joyfully repeating: "rule #1, don't ask for eta lalala" yet, you answer what that person was asking. Its OK to ask among ourselves, its not directed to cyanogenmod team.. Besides they barely answer here. Its just asking for others opinion.
    I know its a rule but it seems everyone is waiting for someone to ask that forbidden question just to lecture them as teachers.
    Soooo, hope its ready soon.

    CM 10.1 Status Update

    Goodbye mr1-staging. Hello CM-10.1

    We are in the process of re-branching our repos as we had originally detailed as part of our initial status update http://goo.gl/6TXme

    Gerrit replication of the new branch, aptly named 'cm-10.1' has begun. As this process continues, the corresponding branches will be created on Github.

    What does this mean for contributors?

    Your patches against mr1-staging, if not merged as of 6pm EST on 12/12/12, will be orphaned. This does not mean they are abandoned, deleted or lost. What it does mean is that you will be required to pull down your patch to your local repos, then push it back up to gerrit against the new 10.1 branch. We advise you hold on this process until replication is completed. We will let you know when that time is appropriate.

    What does this mean for end users?

    We are nearing the point where nightlies will be enabled on a wider scale, as the device maintainers give their OK. This means you are likely to see builds come out for the Nexus family of devices and others. This new branch is also where our M-Series of 10.1 will originate from. More on that later.

    [MOD] CM10 M1 1% Battery Mod - Circle - Maguro

    I love the 1% circle battery mod that I had on my previous ROM and now that I've switched over to CM10 I decided I couldn't do without it.

    So I followed this excellent tutorial by powerpoint45

    and used these fantastic 1% battery images by evilkal
