Just cleared services framework, checked and update was there.

Don't know if is just me but first impression is that the phone feels a LOT snappier, as if butter back in full force

Yep, just done re-root with toolkit and everything looks ok! Toolkit seems to be a bit iffy about recognising if the phone's booted up tho.. not sure if it's just a blip or my ADB needs updating?

I received it coupe of minutes ago clicked to restart and install but my phone bricked. I removed a battery and after that I managed to start my device on but It's still 4.2.1 don't know what happened. I tried clearing the google service framework's data and fore stopped it but no luck. I cant see the update on my nexus 7 either (I have Wi-Fi only model)

I got It again now for both devices (nexus 7 and galaxy nexus) The trick is to turn the wifi off before clearing and fore stopping the google service framework

How to restore root the manual way for people having stock rooted ROM + unlocked bootload + stock recovery (and preserving it):
  • Install OTA as usual
  • Download the CWM recovery and put it into C:\
  • Download the SuperSU package and extract the su executable (path /system/xbin inside the zip file) to C:\
  • Put the phone in fastboot mode and type in a command prompt:
    Code:
    fastboot devices
    fastboot boot C:\recovery-clockwork-6.0.2.3-maguro.img
  • Inside the recovery, go to mounts and then mount system
  • In a command prompt:
    Code:
    adb devices
    adb push C:\su /system/xbin
    adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbin/su
  • Inside the recovery, unmount system and reboot

Check the SuperSU app, works! Hope this helps
Google Samsung Galaxy Nexus JB 4.3 stock & rooted.
