Default [Q] Cracked screen, help needed

Hey, so as the title suggests I dropped my phone which caused a crack at the lower right corner.
Now I remember when the phone only came out everyone were saying its not possible to only change the screen and that you need to change the screen plus the amoled screen and digitizer.
Now I after searching the forums I saw this thread-

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1946828

It looks very promising but its also quite old.
I was wondering if anyone had any recent experience with replacing just the glass screen of the GSM Galaxy Nexus.
Also his link for the New Adhesive is dead, can anyone provide me with a link to a new adhesive? or it doesn't really matter which one I buy off ebay.

Thanks a lot! I really like this phone and hopefully I wont have to replace tons of stuff to get the screen fixed.

Same thing happened to me last week. I think it is quite possible to change just the glass, but i haven't tried it yet.

Thumbs up Glass removal

It is possible to change just the glass . We just did that using a string. There is a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7BmmDCKBgQ
