Hi GNexers,

I've just got a Galaxy Nexus (GSM) extended battery (eBay ~ /itm/120832462058), and wondering what is the best way to get started.

I mean, should I drain it until die and charge for couple hours after the full charge? Or just start using it and follow the usual charging practice?

I've been reading some threads and blogs about extended batteries, but they all seem to talk about how long it holds the charge, NFC compatibility and such. I appreciate even if you can point me to a previous thread if my question answered already.

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know you should drain it completely and then charge it for a day and a night.

I would like to know your experience with your new extended battery. Do share your battery stats, as even I'm thinking of buying one.

Thanks!
