Since the updates for takju seem to come faster and yakju is left behind (like with the update to 4.2), I might want to change from yakju to takju.
Is this possible using this method?
Is the only difference between takju and yakju the Google Wallet app and the (at least for the last update) faster updates?

Yes and yes.

Firmware help, installing
Please help, I am trying to update the firmware on my Nexus Galaxy gsm that is needed for running 4.2.2 androidrevolution 10. I have rooted and have clockwork revolution touch on my phone, I have been using a custom rom for 4.1 but have been told that the radio feedback during calls is because of the wrong radio being used on my phone. I have renamed the firmware to update.zip and put it into what looks like the root directory of my phone, but when I reboot into recovery and choose to install update from sdcard it doesnt see it. When i look it's under a /0 directory. I am so confused. thank you

I have a friend willing to sell me his Sprint Gnex but I am on Verizon. Can I flash that model to Verizon or not? Thank you.

Nope, sorry. They're completely different phones that use completely different LTE bands.

Thanks Oldblue. I thought that was what I was seeing. Going to head to Best Buy and see if they will hold a Verizon one until my March 19 upgrade

Has anyone with a Canadian device (yakjuux) flashed the takju fw with zero issues? My gut would tell me to flash the yakju rather than takju based on the whole google wallet thing (not sure if it works in Canada yet) but I would rather have the fastest updates.

My gf has the galaxy nexus from fido (yakjuux) and it is full of bugs and not even the most up to date.
