Default Slimkat 4.4.2 toroplus dpi and kernel questions

Hi all..getting closer to being able to post in the development threads..

Just installed the latest slimkat nightly, 1.9 weekly 2141, and flashed askp kernel.

I can't find any options under settings to get to CPU frequency changing..what am I missing?

Secondly, I'm trying to get the dpi back to the larger stock 320 but, using Rom Toolbox, it will not stick. Every time I reboot, it defaults to the 245 built into rom.

Has anyone changed the dpi and had it stick?

Thanks!

For the CPU you can try trickster mod from the store... For the dpi you can edit the build.prop file

I wasn't very clear. I was using Rom Toolbox to edit the build.prop. The problem is I edit the line, save, then reboot but the rom defaults back to original settings.

Thanks for tip on the trickster app...I'll give that a try.

There's an app that's simply called "Build Prop Editor", that's what I use to change my dpi and it's always stuck, give it a try. Or you could always locate your build.prop file itself and use a text editor.

You can try "texdroider DPI" a free app from play store. It worked for me on alpha builds of Slimkat
