I was wondering if its considered good practice to install CWM through ROM Manager for The Galaxy Nexus.

I am currently waiting for my first phone ever and processing the more information I can before and I really want to make a Nandroid backup with CWM after unlocking Bootloader and rooting it.

Yes it is fine to flash Clockworkmod through Rom Manager. Some purists may say that you should flash it through other means but based on the statistical probability of having a bad flash through Rom Manager, they are simply clinging to doing things the more difficult way because it makes them feel more intelligent.

Thank you!

I might try the "Purist way" just to learn but since Rom manager and ClockworkMod are from the same dev I think the synergy between them must make them a safe choice.
