Yes, JWR66Y has audio file changes as well as security and other fixes.

hmm ... i've just put this mod onto a ported jss15q rom and no problem so far. just let you know ...

AOSP (JSS15Q) and Google (JRW66Y) are not the same, mostly, but not entirely.

Hi,

First of all, sorry, I did not read the whole thread with hundreds of pages and so my question might already have been answered.

I am currently on 4.3 JRW66V and successfully installed the patch. Volume is fine, it seems louder as stock, but the ve-engine settings do have no effect on it.

Any idea where the problem is?

How are you testing it? What media player, etc?
