So Chopper, in theory, could i download framework_base as a package and import it into eclipse so i could edit the java directly and not have to mess with smali at all?

In my opinion smali is easier...its only 2 lines that need to be edited in batterycontroller.smali...line 450 which is the green color for charging and 511, the yucky stock blue lol

i've got my aokp sources sync'd and everything, also built my first kang and all works fine.

can someone explain me what to do now to get modding started?
can i directly mod the sources i have on the hard disk or should i create another branch for that?

Where's the file to remove diagonal stripes under toggles of dropdown menu?

i tought it was in SystemUI but can't find it right now

Its in framework...its called notify_panel something...
